Description
Upgrade your night vision setup with the Diode Dynamics SS3 IR LED Pod, a purpose-built infrared LED light designed for compatible night vision equipment. Available in 850nm or 940nm infrared illumination, the SS3 features a Combo beam that combines width and distance for effective forward IR lighting. Selectable high and low output modes provide flexibility for different nighttime conditions, while the IR-filtering lens helps reduce visible light signature.
The Diode Dynamics SS3 IR LED is engineered for 9�16V systems and uses a Deutsch DT 4-Pin connection for straightforward integration. OSRAM IR emitters deliver reliable infrared output, while PWM and variable-voltage dimming provide precise control over illumination levels. Choose from Sport or Pro power levels, and select a single pod or pair to match your night vision lighting setup. Be sure to match the 850nm or 940nm wavelength to your equipment; 850nm can produce a more noticeable red glow, while 940nm offers a lower visible signature.

Warranty
All Products: 3-Year Replacement Limited Warranty
Diode Dynamics warrants that its products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of three (3) years after the date of purchase, subject to exceptions, limitations, and stipulations. For approved warranty claims, Diode Dynamics will replace the defective product with the same product or, if it has been discontinued, one comparable in performance and value. See exceptions, limitations, and stipulations below.
If you have an issue with any product, we will diagnose the issue with you, and you may be required to answer questions or assist in the diagnosis. If Diode Dynamics determines that your product is defective in material or workmanship, Diode Dynamics will issue an RMA number. An RMA number must be issued before any items are returned.
U.S. Customers: All initial shipping costs are covered by Diode Dynamics. In most cases, you will immediately receive the new products with a return label. However, in some cases, you may need to use a provided return label to send back items first. Diode Dynamics will provide one free return label per order. You may return any number of items from the order in one box using the free shipping label. However, you will be responsible for return shipping costs for any other separate returns from the same order.
International Customers: For all warranty orders over $200, defective products must be returned before a replacement can be sent. You are responsible for return shipping costs for all warranty claims with retail value of over $200. If you are required to ship your item back for warranty purposes, Diode Dynamics will then cover shipping costs for the replacement items being shipped to you. All warranty orders valued under $200 will be replaced immediately, and you will be responsible for the shipping costs of the replacement.
Select Products: 8-Year Limited Warranty
In addition to the above 3-Year Replacement Limited Warranty, Diode Dynamics carries an 8-year Limited Warranty on select products. Currently, this includes and is limited to all Stage Series and Elite Series lamp assemblies and lamp mounting brackets. However, this does not include wiring, wiring harnesses, lens covers, or other accessories that may be used with lamp assemblies. Please reference product detail pages to determine the specific warranty terms of each product.
After 3 years of Replacement Limited Warranty, Diode Dynamics will continue to warrant for 5 additional years that select products will be free from defects in material and workmanship, subject to exceptions, limitations, and stipulations. This provides Limited Warranty coverage for a total of 8 years from when the product was purchased. Generally, the 8-Year Limited Warranty only applies to functional and product failure, and does not cover cosmetic characteristics of the product. See exceptions, limitations, and stipulations below.

Select Products: Limited Lifetime Warranty
In addition to the above 3-Year and 8-Year Replacement Limited Warranties, Diode Dynamics carries a Lifetime Limited Warranty on select products. Currently, this includes and is limited to SL2 LED Bulbs, SL2 Pro LED Bulbs, Stage Series LED pods, Stage Series Rock Lights, and off-road mounting brackets, effective for orders on and after April 15, 2025. Please reference product detail pages to determine the specific warranty terms of each product.
