RealTruck requires its direct suppliers, as a condition of doing business with RealTruck, to represent, warrant, and certify that neither they nor their subcontractors engage in forced labor, human trafficking, prison labor, or child labor, and that materials incorporated into products supplied to RealTruck comply with laws regarding slavery and human trafficking of the countries in which the suppliers do business. Any supplier that refuses or rejects RealTruck’s General Terms & Conditions and/or Supplier Code of Conduct is disqualified from future business.
RealTruck evaluates potential risks related to human trafficking and forced labor through its global sourcing and procurement processes. Supplier onboarding and ongoing supplier management are governed by RealTruck’s Global Sourcing and Procurement Policy, its Supplier General Terms & Conditions, and its Supplier Code of Conduct, which require suppliers to comply with applicable labor and employment laws, allow worker freedom of association, and prohibit forced labor, slavery, and human trafficking. RealTruck’s supply chain verification is supported by an ongoing third-party analysis using web screening, public data, and private company information in the third party’s proprietary supplier database to evaluate over 800 of RealTruck’s suppliers.
RealTruck reserves contractual rights to audit suppliers for compliance with applicable laws and RealTruck standards, including standards addressing forced labor and human trafficking, as set forth in its Supplier General Terms & Conditions and Supplier Code of Conduct. RealTruck procurement employees have the right to monitor and evaluate suppliers based on their ethical and responsible sourcing and supply chain transparency, and to make corresponding procurement decisions. Supplier audits may be performed at the discretion and direction of RealTruck.
RealTruck maintains internal accountability standards and procedures applicable to associates, consultants, and contractors who fail to meet company standards regarding ethical conduct and legal compliance. These standards are set forth in RealTruck’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics, and include disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment or engagement.
RealTruck has developed training for procurement, supplier management, and compliance associates on topics including ethical business conduct, supplier standards, forced labor, and legal compliance. This training is intended to support awareness of risks associated with forced labor and human trafficking in supply chains and the importance of mitigating those risks consistent with RealTruck policies and applicable law.
