2017 Honda Odyssey Exhaust Tips for Trucks

Spruce up your pickup’s aesthetics with fresh exhaust tips from RealTruck! Exhaust tips are the final touch to a factory or aftermarket exhaust system, finishing off the unsightly exhaust pipe with a sleek slash-cut or rolled-edge tip. While typically viewed exclusively as an aesthetic upgrade, exhaust tips can also affect your pickup’s exhaust note, especially if you’re installing a resonated or oversized tip.

Choosing Your Ideal Exhaust Tips

Exhaust tips come in several configurations, including inlet and outlet sizing, length, material, finish, and edge design.

Fit and Installation

There are three conventional mounting configurations for exhaust tips–OE replacement, clamp-on, and weld-on–and each features unique benefits. OE-style replacements, for example, require no modifications before installation; however, they’re only compatible with factory exhaust systems.

Clamp-on exhaust tips are a popular option considering they require no welding for installation; however, you may need to trim the factory/aftermarket exhaust pipe to fine-tune the tip’s protrusion from the body.

Weld-on exhaust tips tend to result in the most secure installation and professional appearance; however, most truck owners don’t have access to a welder or the technical knowledge.

Shapes and Styles

Exhaust tips come in different shapes and styles, offering varying aesthetics to complement any ride! Some of the most common include:

  • Hex style: An angular, six-sided exhaust tip offering a unique aesthetic.

  • Dual-tip: Sporty styling consisting of dual outlets.

  • Round: Classic, rounded exhaust tips; can come in slash-cut, rolled-edge, and double-wall configurations.

  • Stagger cut: A spin on a traditional hexagonal tip, featuring a staggered edge that tapers from the top down.

We also carry specialty offerings, like the Sinister Diesel AR-15 Exhaust Tip and Gibson Patriot Exhaust Tips, which offer unique, one-of-a-kind aesthetics to make your pickup stand out!

Material/Finish

Aside from styling, exhaust tips also come in various materials; some of the most popular include:

  • Stainless steel: A blend of steel and chromium, resulting in naturally high corrosion resistance. Most stainless steel exhaust tips are left in a polished finish; however, they may discolor after multiple heat cycles.

  • Chrome-plated steel: A less-expensive option is chrome-plated steel. While not as resistant to nicks and abrasions, chrome plating won’t discolor and will last for years, even in harsh climates.

  • Black ceramic/powder-coated steel: Like chrome-plated steel, ceramic or powder-coated steel is corrosion-resistant and durable; however, it may be prone to corrosion if the coating chips or flakes off, depending on the base alloy.

  • Carbon Fiber: Carbon fiber exhaust tips feature a genuine carbon fiber sleeve surrounding a stainless steel inner, resulting in excellent strength and heat resistance. These tips are typically the most expensive on the list.

Aluminum: Corrosion-resistant, lightweight, and durable; aluminum is an excellent choice for constructing exhaust tips; however, it does tend to tarnish if left uncoated.

Specialty Features

Aside from conventional exhaust tips, we also offer some specialty finishes, including ornate logos and designs, such as Gibson Patriot Exhaust Tips, and custom finishes, like the MBRP Polished Stainless Steel with a Burnt End, resulting in a vibrant blue gradient.
