GEN-Y The BOSS Torsion-Flex Weight Distribution Shank comes is a highly versatile item which we have options that will fit 2”, 2.5”, and 3” receivers. 6.5” to 19” drop options with anywhere from 10,000 lb. – 21,000 lb. towing capacity ratings are available as well.
GEN-Y The BOSS Torsion-Flex Weight Distribution Shank features GEN-Y’s patented Torsion-Flex technology which reduces damages to your truck, trailer, and cargo due to the built-in suspension which absorbs 90% of road shock. These products are constructed using heavy-duty steel and feature a durable silver-vein powder coat finish which offers protection from corrosion, providing you with years of use. Added benefits of the Torsion-Flex technology include less wear and tear on your tires and improved fuel economy. GEN-Y offers a limited lifetime structure warranty with a 5-year warranty covering the rubber components and proudly manufactures their products here in the USA.

3” receivers are only offered on select Ford vehicles manufactured after 2017. Please confirm receiver size before submitting your order. This purchase does not include the ball mount, pintle lock, stabilizer bars (on select options), or brackets.

The GEN-Y The BOSS Torsion-Flex Weight Distribution Shank featues an easy installation process since it will slide directly into your receiver hitch and secure using a hitch pin (not included). Please call us toll free if further assistance is needed.

What is covered by this Limited Lifetime Warranty:
This Limited Warranty covers defects in the material or workmanship of your Hitch. All obligations of GEN-Y Hitch pursuant to this Limited Warranty are limited to the repair or replacement of the Hitch by GEN-Y Hitch. The decision as to whether any applicable remedy shall be by replacement or by repair of the hitch shall be at GEN-Y Hitch’s sole determination. All coverage provided by this Limited Warranty terminates in the event of your sale or transfer of the Hitch.
**This limited warranty is expressly IN LIEU of any express warranty and is further IN LIEU of any implied warranty, including, but not limited to, any implied WARRANTY OR MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE except as may otherwise be required by applicable Federal or State law at the time the hitch was manufactured.
What is not covered by this Limited Lifetime Warranty:
This limited lifetime warranty does not cover the following:
- Normal wear and tear
- The finish on the hitch
- Replacement of the hitch by any person or entity other than GEN-Y HITCH
- Any consequential or incidental damages including, but not limited to: commercial loss, loss of time, loss or damage to personal property, lodging, meals, or other related travel costs, or any other incidental or consequential damages, arising out of the use of the hitch, the inability to use the hitch, or any other reasonable delay in performance under this limited warranty.
