Gator SRX vs SR1 Tonneau Covers

In the search for a tonneau cover for your truck, there’s a good chance you’ll come across the Gator SRX and Gator SR1 Pro. While both of these covers are soft roll-ups manufactured by Gator, there are some small but important differences that set them apart from one another. In this article, we’ll detail the differences between the Gator SRX and Gator SR1 truck bed covers.

This low-profile tonneau cover sits between your bed rails and approximately 3/4 of an inch above the bed.


The cover sits on top of your bed caps and approximately 1.5 inches above the bed.

A block located on the driver's side is used to adjust tension on the vinyl. By changing the block’s position, you can add or relieve tension.
