RealTruck Announces Expansion and Growth of its Manufacturing Operations in Northeast Ohio

Plans for second location in Stark County will expand production and more than 100 jobs

CLEVELAND, Ohio, June 24, 2024 – RealTruck, Inc., the premier global manufacturer of functional aftermarket accessories and an online destination for truck, Jeep®, Bronco® and off-road enthusiasts, has announced a significant expansion of its leading fiberglass and aluminum truck caps manufacturing operations. The growth includes the establishment of a Massillon campus within one mile of each other and as a result the creation of more than 100 new jobs, bringing the facilities to nearly 900 employees. Ohio Department of Development (ODOD) approved the project for tax credit assistance during its Ohio Tax Credit Authority meeting today.

The moves will position RealTruck for future growth, meeting the growing demand for truck caps and accessory products while improving operational efficiency. The campus, which is a combined 500,000+ square feet, will accommodate the company’s custom fiberglass mold operations and aluminum truck caps manufacturing, as well as transportation and shipping streamlining operations and efficiencies in Stark County.

“The expansion of our operations to the Massillon campus afford RealTruck the opportunity to not only deliver excellence in manufacturing but expand output to meet the growing demand for our industry-leading products,” said Greg Kerr, VP of Plant Operations at RealTruck. “With this move, we are retaining current employees and aggressively hiring new employees at our Massillon campus.”

The collaborative team, including Stark Economic Development Board, City of Massillon, ODOD, JobsOhio, and Team NEO, worked with leadership to bring this exciting expansion to Stark County commented on the project:

“RealTruck has been a big part of our city’s economic success for almost 30 years,” said Massillon Mayor Jamie Slutz. “We are thankful that they chose to expand in Massillon and we will continue to work with them anyway we can.”
