Yukon ring & pinion packages are a great upgrade for anyone running larger tires on your 4x4 truck or Jeep. This will help revive your acceleration, remove excess strain from your drivetrain, and operate at proper RPMs. Yukon gear packages are available in ratios ranging from 4.11 all the way to 5.38.
The best part about the Yukon ring & pinion packages are that they include ring and pinion sets for the front and rear axles along with a complete overhaul master install kit for the front and rear. These install kits will include parts such as Timken bearings and races, high quality seals and gaskets, complete shim kits, ring gear bolts, pinion nut, crush sleeve, thread locker and even marking compound. Yukon Gear and Axle also offers a one year warranty against manufacturer defects on all parts.
Installation
Even though we recommend having your new gears installed by a shop, that doesn't mean you couldn't do it yourself. In addition to common hand tools, installing new gears in your axle will generally require a hydraulic press and dial indicator to install correctly.
