Description
Yukon mini spools are one of the best ways to assure traction with both rear tires for any dedicated drag racer, sled puller, or off-roader. These Yukon spools will provide full traction to both rear tires at all times without the need for them to be engaged or having additional components.
A mini spool will work with your existing gears and will simply replace your spider gears to lock your axle shafts to deliver full and equal power to both sides. Mini spools are easier to install than a complete spool while offering the same benefits. Due to the fact that your differential will no longer allow the tires to spin independently with a spool installed it is not recommended for street use.
Installation
Installing a mini-spool is quite easy. Simply remove your spider gears and install the mini-spool in their place.
