The Optimus Side Steps were designed by Vanguard Off-Road to have a premium, rugged look, while also having a structurally robust build. They are made out of Q235 Structural Steel and have an electrophoretic black primer, combined with a black powder topcoat. These steps have a 5" wide step area and are capable of supporting up to 300 lbs. They also have an open-channel design that allows wet elements to drain from the surface, so you can maintain your traction even during inclement weather.

Trimming of the undercarriage plastic cover is required for most applications during installation, but all the assembly and mounting hardware needed to install the Optimus Side Steps to your vehicle will be included.

All Vanguard Off-Road Steps come complete with installation instructions. Trimming of the undercarriage cover is required for most vehicles. Hiring professionals for installation is always recommended, however, these steps do come with vehicle specific mounting hardware and everything needing to complete the installation at home.   • Coverage: Vanguard Off-Road stands behind the quality and durability of its products. Vanguard's warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase by the original consumer.
  • What's Covered: This warranty applies to defects arising under normal use conditions and does not cover damages caused by improper installation, misuse, neglect, accidents, or unauthorized repairs.
  • Claims Process: To make a warranty claim, please retain your proof of purchase and contact Vanguard Off-Road directly. Vanguard may require you to provide photos of the defect and a description of the issue. Upon approval, Vanguard will repair or replace the effective product at our discretion.
  • Exclusions: This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or damages resulting from modifications to the product. Any alterations to the product may void this warranty.
