Description

Van Compass rear van leaf springs are suspension upgrades designed to improve ride quality, correct rear sag, and increase load-carrying ability on camper vans, cargo vans and conversions. These springs typically install under your factory springs to combat sag and restore proper ride height near or at GVWR, increase spring rate and reduce bottoming out, and are engineered for specific van models and wheel/tire configurations. These leaf springs are sold in multiple variations; Mini spring packs are lighter and easier to install, and are best when you want to supplement existing springs, while Opti-Rate replacements are more comprehensive, replacing factory springs and offering adjustable ride/weight tuning for diverse payloads. The Opti-rate spring is made up of three distinct parts: the main springs in the primary stage, a 3-leaf secondary stage, and the Adjustable Preload Spacers (APS). The Adjustable Preload Spacers are machined blocks with stackable delrin glide pads that preload the secondary stage into the main stage. The springs are designed in a way that there is a gap between the 2 stages, perfect for adding our billet machined APS. When the main spring is weighted, the APS are able to engage the primary and secondary stages together.

Whether you need a full-replacement for heavy conversions or something to help reduce sag, the Van Compass rear van leaf springs have you covered. Order yours today!

Warranty

Van Compass takes pride in the products we create and we know the journey is as important as the destination. Modifying any vehicle does inherently carry some risk, and performance suspension systems on heavily loaded vehicles do require higher maintenance than low quality OE systems.

  • Due to the high performance design of our dampers, you my notice additional noise during operation like ‘clunks’ or ‘creaks’. These sounds are often associated with the design of the vehicle and do not necessarily indicate a failure or warranty issue.
  • Progressive rate leaf springs operate differently to factory style parabolic leaf springs. Due to their design, some noises may present over time. Periodic maintenance, lubrication and deep cleaning may be necessary to maintain optimum operation.
  • Operating vehicles in dusty, muddy or inclement conditions will reduce maintenance intervals and may accelerate wear and tear.
