Description

The Shocker Streamline 10K Aluminum Air Receiver Hitch uses air spring technology to provide you and those you are traveling with a smoother and safer towing experience. This is not your typical trailer hitch that you can purchase anywhere. This Shocker Hitch absorbs the damaging forces experienced by a typical receiver hitch. In the long run, this will reduce wear and tear on your truck and keep your trailer and contents safe and in good working order! It will also save you money in the long run. Thanks to its 10,000lbs. towing capacity rating and 1,000lbs. tongue weight, the Shocker Hitch aluminum air ride receiver hitch is great for hauling light weight campers, boats, open car trailers and more.

The Streamline air ride ball mount towing system is constructed out of aluminum that is strong but light weight and is finished with a premium silver powder coat for the frame. The base frame of the air ride hitch has eight holes for maximum adjustment, depending on the mount you need you can have 2” of rise to 8-1/2” of drop. Shocker hitch has many attachments to choose from Combo 2” & 2-5/16” ball, drop ball, raised ball, pintle, cushioned drawbar, sway tab mounts, and clevis mount just to name a few that you can pick from.

All Shocker Hitches are designed to slide into a standard 2” receiver tube that is mounted to a truck, SUV or van with a hitch that is mounted under the bumper. For an added feature the air hitch shank has two holes drilled into it for extra length adjustability. Included with your purchase is the Aluminum Streamline receiver hitch base frame assembly with built-in 10K air bar, combo ball mount and two D-handle hitch pins, along with the installation instructions. This product comes backed by a 1-year warranty against all manufacturing defects and is proudly made in Jamestown, ND.

Safety Notice:
The Shocker Hitch is a heavy-duty unit that in most cases exceeds factory receiver hitch weight capacities, therefore it is imperative that you always read and follow the tongue and towing weight recommendations of the receiver hitch that is mounted on your tow vehicle.

Usage: The Air Shocker may also be used as a handy tongue weight scale for determining proper loading of trailer.
See chart below. Under normal circumstances tongue weight should be at least 10 percent of total towing weight.
Note: It is highly recommended that the hitch ball be greased to reduce wear and improve shocker action.

Maximum Pressure:
Do not exceed 100 psi in the air bag, as it may damage the air bag.
Note: If it takes more than 60 psi to compress the top bushing this indicates you have more than 1200 lbs. of tongue weight.

Warranty

The limited warranty period for hitches purchased from Shocker Hitch, or sold through one of our authorized dealers, is one year (365 days) from date of purchase. Any replacement hitch, or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original physical good or 365 days from the original purchase.

The limited warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period of one year (365 days) from original date of purchase. During the warranty, Shocker Hitch will repair or replace, at no charge, the Shocker Hitch, or parts of the Shocker Hitch, which prove defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.

What does this limited warranty not cover?

  • Shipping or transportation costs incurred to repair or replace the hitch
  • Damage incurred on the hitch while in transit to Shocker Hitch for warranty purposes. Any finish such as paint, powder coating, etc., on the hitch. Normal wear and tear of hitch under proper use. Labor or service charges involved in replacing any hitch. Damage resulting from abuse, neglect, misuse, or any accident. Product which is improperly installed, overloaded, modified, or altered. Loss of time, expenses, vehicle use, other vehicle damage, replacement rental, lodging, or incidental cost.
  • Conditions, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship
  • Damage resulting from improper maintenance
  • Damage resulting from theft of a product, loss of a product, and natural disasters
  • Damage resulting from improper use or application, such as exceeding weight ratings
  • Use of unapproved accessories, or unapproved modification to the product or Shocker Hitch
