Warranty
CYC Engineering, Inc. guarantees the original purchaser of their Magnum branded products a limited lifetime warranty on the workmanship and structure of the product; all components and the product's finish/coating are covered for 1-year from the original date of purchase. Magnum RT Gen2 Steps have a finish warranty independent from other Magnum Products; this finish warranty exclusive to Magnum RT Gen2 Steps is 10 years from the original date of purchase. The terms and conditions will vary on the item purchased. Please read all terms and conditions along with proper care and maintenance as outlined in the information provided with each product. Proof of purchase will be required in order to approve any warranty claim. The warranty begins from the date of original purchase and covers against manufacturer defects.
This includes but is not limited to, defects in materials, workmanship, finish, failure of product, and function under normal use. Manufacturer warranties do not include damage resulting from road hazards such as gravel or other debris, product misuse, improper installation, impairments from accidents, product modifications, fire or natural disasters, acts of god, product neglect or scratches during the life of the product, or usage in excess of recommended capacities. Failure to properly maintain or follow the product instructions will void warranty. This limited manufacturer warranty applies only to new products and is at their discretion to the repair or replacement of company products. Warranty does not include replacement of electrical components or light bulbs, costs of removal, installation, labor, shipping charges, any inconvenience, or consequential damages. Original purchaser must return defective merchandise along with the purchase receipt unless instructed otherwise, to the original place of purchase. PROPER CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Black Coated Finish Products - As with any outdoor product, proper care is essential for maintaining the integrity of black coated steel products. All black coated products should be cleaned regularly with a soft rag or microfiber cloth with mild soap and warm water. Avoid abrasive chemicals or fabrics that can break down or scratch the composition of the finish. Never use chemical cleaners like window sprays, bleach, and petroleum based products. These chemicals will remove dirt and blemishes but can also start to strip layers of the coating. Certain weather conditions can have a negative effect on the coating over time, we recommend occasionally using non abrasive car wax (pure carnauba based) applied approximately every three months.
