Normal wear and tear (including chips and scratches, abrasions, discolorations or fading due to usage, exposure to sunlight, and extreme weather conditions) is not covered by our warranty, nor is damage caused by neglect, unauthorized alterations or repairs, power surges/lightning strikes, water damage, ice retention or failure to follow recommended care and use instructions. Power cords and fuses are not covered by our warranty.
Factory seconds, discounted or second-hand products or products purchased from third party retailers on Amazon or on eBay are not covered by our warranty.
Products used commercially, that are abused or misused, or products that are structurally altered or subject to undue stress beyond the physical limits of the materials are not covered under this warranty.
This warranty does not include any manufacturer responsibility for any consequential or incidental damages resulting from the use of the product. Under no circumstance will Engel Coolers be responsible for any amount of damages beyond the amount paid for the product at retail. Engel Coolers will not be held liable for the contents of any cooler, cooler/dry box or fridge/freezer should it fail to operate as advertised. On a related note, cooler performance - or the ability to 'keep ice' is not covered by any warranty.
