Towing just got a lot easier thanks to the Curt AlumaLite™ Aluminum Drop Hitch.
The Curt AlumaLite Aluminum Drop Hitch is a lot lighter than other drop hitches on the market. And while it might be lighter, it doesn’t mean that it’s a glorified paper weight either. This hitch is constructed using corrosion-resistant billet aluminum, meaning when exposed to moisture, it will not rust and become an eyesore. We have four options available, ranging from 3-1/2” drop all the way up to 9-1/2”. They’re easily adjustable in increments of 1” using the provided pins. Each drop hitch will include a 2” ball and a 2-5/16” ball. The 2” ball has an 8,000 lbs. towing rating while the 2-5/16” ball has a 10,000 lbs. towing rating. These hitch balls are constructed using a high-strength steel with a durable chrome finish. These drop hitches are compatible with any 2” x 2” hitch receiver tube opening with a 5/8” hitch pin hole. Please note that these products are not intended to be used in the rise position.
Thanks to its lightweight construction, installing and uninstalling these Curt drop hitches is very simple. Included with each purchase is the dual ball attachment, pins, clips, and shank. Curt offers a generous limited lifetime structure warranty, and a 1-year finish and parts warranty.

The Curt AlumaLite Aluminum Drop Hitch features an easy installation process since no cutting or drilling is required. You’ll slide your hitch into the 2” receiver and secure it in place using the provided hitch pins and clips. Please refer to the installation instructions posted below or call us at your earliest convenience if additional assistance is needed.

CURT MANUFACTURING, LLC (“CURT”) provides limited lifetime warranty coverage against defects in factory workmanship and materials for CURT products, UNLESS stated elsewhere regarding specific part numbers. If a defect covered by this warrant occurs, CURT will repair or replace the product, or refund the purchase price, in its sole discretion. This “repair, replacement or refund” remedy is the sole and exclusive remedy under this limited warranty. CURT has no responsibility or liability for any incidental or consequential damages, such as loss of use of vehicles or trailers, towing charges, storage charges, tire damage, labor and service charges for removing and reinstalling products, loss of or damage to personal property, or interest or finance charges, all of which are specifically excluded and disclaimed from this limited warranty.
