Description
The Bully Dog Performance DPF is the first aftermarket DPF system that is a stock replacement and emissions-compliant. This DPF will replace the existing, highly restrictive factory DPF with the high flow, performance oriented system from Bully Dog. Not only does the item increase air flow by up to 21%, it is also completely legal for on road use, unlike complete DPF delete kits.
There will be an increase in flow and thermal performance once installed. Pair with a Bully Dog tune for serious horsepower and torque increases. The Performance DPF will reduce EGT's by up to 12% and backpressure by up to 44% for a more efficient, cooler running diesel engine. This will also lower the amount of regenerations required.
To alleviate the maintenance challenges that owners face with DPFs, the Performance DPF is designed to be accessible and fully serviceable – much different than a stock DPF. Cleaning and servicing is a breeze: access the catalyst components via a stainless steel v-band flange. Trips to the shop for custom cutting and welding are now a thing of the past!
