Artec Industries Limited Warranty

Artec's promise
Artec Industries warrants that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship when used under normal intended conditions.

Who is covered
This limited warranty applies to the original retail purchaser of Artec products. If you purchased through a dealer or jobber, you may submit a claim through the place of purchase or directly with Artec.

Warranty period

• Fabricated steel and aluminum parts: Limited Lifetime to the original retail purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship.
• Hardware, joints, bushings, bearings, and moving components: 12 months from date of purchase.
• Electrical components and accessories: 12 months from date of purchase.
• Finishes and coatings: Cosmetic finishes, including powder coat, are not covered for chips, scratches, fading, or normal wear. Finish defects visible at delivery must be reported within 90 days of receipt and are handled under our Damaged Shipments process, not warranty.

What is not covered
This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage.
• Damage from improper installation, misuse, racing or competition, overloading, accidents, neglect, or lack of maintenance.
• Products that have been modified, welded on, cut, ground, or otherwise altered after purchase.
• Incorrect parts ordered or shipped. These are handled under the Return Policy section titled “Incorrect or Mis-Ordered Items.”
• Any labor, removal, installation, alignment, rental, downtime, or other incidental costs.
• Shipping damage or missing items. These are handled under “Damaged Shipments & Missing Items” in our Return Policy.

Remedies
At Artec’s option, we will repair, replace, or issue store credit for a product found defective under this warranty. If the original product is discontinued or unavailable, we may substitute an equivalent product or issue store credit for the original purchase price. Refunds are not a standard warranty remedy.

Replacement shipments use the original shipping method. Expedited shipping is available at your expense.

How to make a warranty claim

• Obtain an RMA. All warranty returns require prior authorization. Call 855-278-3299 to request a Return Merchandise Authorization number.
• Provide proof. Have your order number or dated proof of purchase, photos of the issue, and a brief description of the problem.
• Ship the product. You are responsible for packaging and shipping the product to Artec. Products must be clean and free of excessive dirt, oil, or debris. Items received without an RMA may be refused and returned to sender at their cost.
• Inspection. Artec will inspect the product to confirm eligibility. If approved, Artec will repair or replace the item and return it using the original shipping method.

Relationship to our Return Policy

• Returns and exchanges are available only to direct retail consumers and must follow the timelines and rules in our Return Policy. All jobber sales are final for returns and exchanges.
• Items purchased during promotional events and all powder coated products are final sale for returns. This does not eliminate coverage for manufacturing defects as outlined in this warranty.
• Incorrect or mis-ordered items and shipping damage are handled under the Return Policy, not this warranty.

Important packaging note
Poor packaging that results in transit damage may lead to denial of a warranty claim. Keep original packaging whenever possible.

Limitations
This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty for Artec products. Artec disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Artec is not liable for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

Intended use
Many Artec products are designed for off-road use. Vehicle modification can change handling and dynamics. Professional installation and alignment are recommended. You are responsible for verifying fitment and compatibility before installation.

Governing law
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary by state. This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Utah.
