Tom "Tombo" Martin, born in South Carolina, grew up in Panama City Beach, Florida. He spent most of his childhood hunting and fishing. During a 21-year professional baseball career, Tombo has played with 7 Major League teams and ended with pitching for the New York Mets. Tombo has retired from over a decade in the Major League.  He now spends his time hunting and fishing with friends and family on his ranch in the Florida Panhandle.Through his passion for the game of baseball and the tradition of hunting, Tombo formed a relationship with fellow Buckman Willie Robertson and the other boys on a deer-hunting trip in Texas hill county.
