Eric is an automotive enthusiast and gearhead. With a degree in English from Pittsburg State University, he found a way to combine his love for all things mechanical with his passion for writing. Hailing from rural Kansas, his journey started with a 1976 Kawasaki KE175, and he now owns a 2015 Chevy Colorado with a 2M53 manual transmission. But, if you have questions about owning a car with a 3-cylinder engine, he’s also owned a Ford Focus 1.0 6MT.

As a professional, Eric is a member of the Midwest Automotive Media Association. He also enjoys spending time outdoors, such as kayaking on the Kansas River. At the end of the day, Eric’s goal is to help fellow truck owners get the most out of their vehicles.
