The Sportsman X Grille Guard by Westin is a great combination of aggressive style and front-end protention. This grille guard's unique design mimics those of similar larger grille guard designs. The Westin Sportsman X Grille Guard is constructed of heavy-duty 1-5/8" outer steel tubing and 2-1/4" rubber upright strips, and comes in a textured black finish.
The Westin Sportsman X Grille Guard has an integrated 1-5/8" step plate on the bottom tube for easy access under the hood that is made of die-stamped steel for maximum traction, as well as integrated brush guards for added protection to the headlight areas. This grille guard also features a spot to mount an optional 26" double row LED light bar for extra visibility on and off road. The Westin Sportsman X Grille Guard comes standard with smaller removable mesh panels for factory sensor openings on some applications, but you can to purchase the the grille guard with the larger detachable mesh panel for a more seamless look.
The Westin Sportsman X Grille Guard comes with pre-drilled provisions for factory sensors, but sensor relocator kits are also available for select models. All grille guards come with vehicle specific mounting hardware to get the item installed. Most applications require no-drilling and the installations can be done in the convenience of your driveway. All Westin Grille Guards come complete with installation instructions. Because of the size and weight of these grille guards, they are shipped by a truck freight and can be heavy to lift. When it comes to mounting, it is recommended that you have help with the lifting of the item to avoid injury or damage to grille guard and vehicle. However, they come with a bolt-on mount kit for easy installation. Recheck all hardware after the first couple hundred miles. It is advised to inspect the grille guard and hardware periodically. Westin Automotive Products, Inc. guarantees the original purchaser of Westin products a three year warranty from the date of original purchase against manufacturer defects in materials, workmanship and finish under normal use excluding damage resulting from road hazards such as gravel or other debris, product misuse, improper installation, impairments from accidents, product modifications or product neglect. This three year warranty applies only to new products and is limited to the repair or replacement of Westin products. Warranty does not include electrical components or light bulb replacement, costs of removal, installation, labor, freight, inconvenience or consequential damages. Original purchaser must return defective merchandise, along with the purchase receipt, to the original place of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse, neglect, improper installation, fire, vandalism or any form of abuse.
