The Merritt Utility Box was designed to mount in your bed unlike their crossbody boxes, which mount on your bed rails. These boxes provide the highest level of strength, durability and function in the industry.
The body on the Merritt Utility Box is constructed from smooth, extruded aluminum and the door is made from diamond plate aluminum. The door and body connect to protect the seal surface, providing the best weather resistant seal and security in the industry. These boxes feature tamper-resistant locks, as well as high-quality latch hardware and components to provide the highest level of security and years of trouble-free operation.
Thanks to the gas shocks attached to the door frame, the box will open to 90 degrees for easy access. The Merritt Utility Boxes come in a variety of different options to accommodate just about any of your storage needs. Additionally, these utility boxes will be covered under Merritt's limited lifetime structural warranty against defects in materials and craftsmanship and a three year warranty on the finish.

The Merritt Utility Boxes come with simple to follow instructions. All necessary hardware for mounting your utility box will need to be purchased separately. For additional information or questions, please give us a call.

Merritt Aluminum Products Company guarantees to the original owner that the Light Truck Products will be free of defects in material and workmanship from purchase receipt and for the life of the product and 3-years on the finish. If covered products fail due to a manufacturing workmanship or material defect, we will repair it, replace it, or issue credit for future purchase equal to the original purchase price, at our discretion. Only original, unaltered and unmodified items are covered. This warranty only applies to product purchased from an authorized dealer or seller. Please register for warranty at the time of purchase. Registration or proof of purchase is required to receive warranty consideration. For proper warranty evaluation and potential repair, you may be required to return product directly to; Merritt Aluminum Products Company, 1011 14th Street Fort Lupton Colorado. All product returns require pre-approval from Merritt. A Return Goods Authorization will be issues with detailed instructions regarding the return process.
Exclusions:
- Merritt Aluminum Products Company is not responsible for direct, incidental or consequential damages for any reason including damage resulting from a breach of a warranty or condition such as scratches in the products surface, or lost or damaged personal property.
- This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, the natural breakdown or oxidation of raw material finish, discoloration of coated surfaces including plating and anodizing, or forces outside the control of the manufacturer.
- Powder coat finish is excluded from lifetime guarantee but is covered for a three year period.
- Products identified as "Scratch and Dent are excluded from any and all cosmetic and appearance claims.
