While your current tailgate camera has likely served you well, there is one little problem that hinders its use that has long been overlooked. You see, if you happen to be hauling some lumber and you must do so with your tailgate down, when you put your truck in reverse, your current camera will now point directly down to the ground, becoming essentially useless. Thanks to the innovative (and clever) BringIt SwitchBack SOLO - Down Tailgate Camera, whether your tailgate is open or closed, your visibility will no longer be obstructed. This new camera will work in conjunction with your current camera, it doesn’t replace it. This camera can be mounted two separate ways, either from the top of the tailgate or at the license plate frame. No crazy buttons or levers need to be pushed to get it to work either. Your main factory camera will function as normal when the tailgate is closed, but when you open the tailgate, it will automatically switch over to the BringIt SwitchBack SOLO - Down Tailgate Camera.
Installing this product is fast and simple thanks to its plug-n-play setup and comes with all hardware and instructions. It is imperative that you make sure that your current tailgate is functioning correctly before installing this product. A limited 3-year warranty is included which covers defects in materials and workmanship.

The BringIt SwitchBack SOLO - Down Tailgate Camera features a relatively easy installation process. All hardware comes included, along with easy-to-follow instructions. Please note If any items on your tailgate do not function prior to installing this product, they will not work afterwards. It is highly recommended to look over your tailgate and see that it is functioning properly before beginning the installation process.
warranty
BringIt Tailgates warrants all parts of its manufacture, furnished under this agreement, to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of three (3) years from the date of the original purchase. This limited warranty covers the cost of the product. If within three (3) years from the original date of purchase this product fails in defects in materials or workmanship, BringIt Tailgates will replace any defective part at its option.
The original purchaser must contact *BringIt Tailgates customer service and provide a description of the defective part, including digital photos if requested, with the original purchase documentation as validation of warranty coverage or have previously activated their warranty online.
This limited warranty does not cover:
- Installation
- Labor
- Freight
- Normal wear & tear
- Abuse, or
- Damage caused by collision
- In addition, consequential damage, and incidental damages (including lost time) such as damage to persons or property are not covered under this warranty.
This limited warranty does not cover any consequential damages, including but not limited to the expense of being without the vehicle during inspection or repair/replacement period, delay, lodging, or mileage. Additionally, any and all implied warranties (including the warranty or fitness or merchantability) are limited for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This limited warranty is void if the product shows signs of alteration, modification, misuse, mishandling, improper care, and/or neglect. Also, this limited warranty is void in the event of improper installation, by anyone other than BringIt Tailgates. The liability of BringIt Tailgates under this warranty is limited, at BringIT Tailgate’s option, solely to repair or replace with equivalent products within a reasonable time.
This limited warranty is conditioned upon: (a) BringIt Tailgates being notified by purchaser within one month after discovery of any defects, (b) the return of the defect product(s) to BringIt Tailgates at Purchaser’s expense within the limited warranty period, and (c) BringIt Tailgates’ examination of such product(s) and its satisfaction that such defects were not caused by negligence, misuse, improper maintenance, accident, or authorized repair or alteration.
