If you need to move your receiver opening back to provide clearance for rear-mounted accessories, then check out the Blue Ox Receiver Extension. The receiver extension fits 2" receiver hitches and will extend the opening either 6" or 12". It is intended to be used for flat towing. It is constructed from heavy-duty steel with a black powder coat finish that resists rust and corrosion. It has a maximum towing capacity of 10,000 lbs. and maximum tongue weight of 1,000 lbs. It has an easy install simply sliding into the receiver hitch and the pin and clip are included. It is backed by a 1-year warranty and is made in the USA!

The Blue Ox Receiver Extension has an easy, at home installation. Simply slide the receiver extension into the receiver hitch and pin it in place with the 5/8" pin and clip provided. For more information check out the PDF installation guides below.
