Truck Essentials
We started out with the first two upgrades any truck should get: side steps and a tonneau cover. Since the truck will be riding high on a lift and aftermarket wheels & tires, AMP Research Power Step XL automatic running boards were used to provide the lowest possible step while maintaining good ground clearance. On the bed, Retrax’s PowertraxPRO retractable truck bed cover keeps cargo secure and protected from the elements. UnderCover Swing Cases transformed the unused space behind the wheel wells into useful storage space while a Dometic powered cooler keeps food and beverages cold all day long. When it’s time to tow boats, trailers, and other heavy payloads, a Bulletproof Drop Hitch makes hooking up and unloading the trailer a snap.
Off-Road Ready
When it’s time to leave the pavement and go off road, this F-350 is ready thanks to a 3.5” lift kit from Superlift and a set of Nitto Ridge Grappler 37s wrapped around Fuel Machined Black Sledge 22” wheels. If the Ford finds itself in a sticky situation, a 12,000lb Warn Zeon winch is ready to pull it out of mud, sugar sand, and other off-road hazards.
Protect Your Ride
A truck is a lifestyle investment, and investments deserve to be protected. To that end, Dak’s Super Duty is guarded front and rear by Road Armor Vaquero heavy duty bumpers. With features like steel construction and a prerunner guard, these aftermarket bumpers absorb impacts that would crumple stock parts. Bushwacker Extend-a-Fender Flares keep mud and debris from chipping the paint on the quarter panels, while inside the cab a set of Husky Liners All Weather Floor Mats shields upholstery from dirt and spills.
Light The Way
With the possible exception of wheels and tires, nothing immediately elevates a truck’s appearance from stock to customized like a set of aftermarket headlights. For improved vision and visibility on the road, Morimoto XB Black LED headlights and tail lights bookend the big Ford along with 4Banger LED fog lights. Off-road lighting is handled more than capably by Rigid Industries with an LED light bar and auxiliary lights. Underneath the truck, Rigid rock lights round out the F-350’s lighting upgrades.
